The Lexington Hotel, Autograph Collection

I was very impressed with the price I was able to score with such a prestigious and comfortable hotel-- the needs for my friends and I were very minimal for the one night we stayed and for that reason, we had a great experience. Nice beds, lovely bathroom, great AC and a prime location for everywhere else we ended up going to. Also, super duper nice and efficient staff that made checking in and out a breeze.

Most NYC hotel rooms are tiny but this one was surprisingly spacious and it had two bathrooms and two closets which I never see but was very happy for since we had our two kids with us. Everything was better than I expected. It was a pretty penny for this particular time due to New Years but at least it was worthwhile. It’s also only 3 blocks from a metro stop and walking distance to Times Square, Radio City Music Hall and lots of other attractions.

The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The room was very quiet, probably thanks to other quiet guests as well. The room was equipped with an iron and ironing board too :) Housekeeping was performed daily, with towels replaced as well. I used the resort fees towards the buffet breakfast, which I found convenient. The breakfast buffet selection is good, with scrambled eggs, bacon/sausages, potatoes, assortment of pastries to name a few. And fruits. The hotel is beautifully decorated with a jazz theme, and it's nice having breakfast in the Stayton Room with jazz music playing in the background (and in the elevators as well). I also like the fact that the hotel provides filtered water near the reception lobby. So good! You can bring your water bottles and fill them up there. Also, they provide free coffee/tea in the mornings in the same area. The hotel location is great, close to Grand Central Terminal (about 15 mins walks). Also a short stroll (less than 30 mins) to 5th Avenue shopping area. There's Starbucks on the hotel premises too. Overall, the staff is very helpful and courteous and I enjoyed my stay.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating with all the different things we needed. My daughter was moving into her college dorm down the street and we had lots to coordinate. The hotel was super helpful in holding all her luggage and boxes as well as keeping me in my same room for an extra night. Our room was always clean to come back to after a busy day.
